Behind Our Strips

What CombatStrips is, where it came from, and what’s in it.

The Origin

CombatStrips started the way most gear does: with something that didn’t survive training.

Drugstore nasal strips are made for sleeping: a still face, dry skin, eight quiet hours. Training is the opposite of that. Sweat starts inside two minutes, someone’s shoulder is on your face by five, and a strip that was engineered for a pillow ends up on the mat.

So we made one for training.

Same external-dilator mechanics that have been studied for decades: flexible spring bands that lift the nasal valve open from the outside. The difference is a medical-grade adhesive spec’d for sweat and contact, and a matte black finish instead of a beige bandage.

We’re a small operation. Two products, one job: keep your nose usable for the whole session.

What’s In A Strip

Medical-Grade Adhesive

The part that separates a training strip from a sleep strip. It has one job: stay put from warm-up to the last round, then come off without taking your skin with it.

  • Built to hold through sweat and mat contact
  • Hypoallergenic, skin-safe materials
  • Removes cleanly with warm water

Spring Bands

Two flexible bands run the length of the strip. Press the strip onto the bridge of your nose and they pull outward, holding the nasal valve open against the suction of hard breathing.

  • Constant lift for a full session
  • Moves with your face
  • Single-use by design: fresh spring tension every session

Try Them

Thirty strips. One per session. If one ever comes off mid-roll, tell us.
