CombatStrips Introduces New Product Sizes for Enhanced Fit

San Diego, CA - August 15, 2024 - CombatStrips today announced the expansion of its product line to include three sizes: Small, Regular, and Large, ensuring optimal fit and performance for all athletes.
Size Matters for Performance
The original CombatStrips (now "Regular") fit approximately 85% of athletes. The new sizes address feedback from the remaining 15% who requested better fit options.
"We've had consistent feedback from athletes with smaller or larger nasal structures," said Mike Rodriguez, CEO. "Performance depends on proper fit. These new sizes ensure every athlete gets maximum benefit."
Sizing Guide
- Small: For athletes with narrower nose bridges (common among women and lighter weight classes)
- Regular: Original size, fits majority of athletes
- Large: For athletes with wider nasal structures (common among heavyweight competitors)
Each size maintains the same medical-grade adhesive, biomechanical spring system, and performance characteristics as the original.
Development Process
The new sizes underwent testing with 30 athletes over 3 months, with particular focus on adhesion, comfort, and performance metrics across different facial structures.
"The Small size is perfect for me," said Jessica Park, 115-lb IBJJF competitor. "The Regular worked, but the Small fits better and stays even more secure. Small details make big differences."
Availability
All three sizes are now available on combatstrips.com and through gym partnership program. Pricing remains the same across all sizes.
Variety Packs
CombatStrips also introduced a "Trial Pack" containing 4 strips of each size, allowing athletes to find their perfect fit before committing to a full pack.
