The Origin
CombatStrips wasn't born in a lab. It was born on the mats.
Our founder, a competitive BJJ black belt, spent years frustrated by traditional nose strips that couldn't handle the intensity of serious training. They'd fall off mid-roll, lose adhesion from sweat, or simply weren't strong enough to deliver meaningful airflow improvement.
So we built our own.
We partnered with materials engineers, sports physiologists, and world-champion grapplers to design something entirely new. Not a modified version of existing products, but a ground-up solution engineered specifically for combat sports.
Two years of R&D. Hundreds of prototypes. Thousands of hours of testing on actual athletes in competition conditions.

Testing & Validation
Phase 1: Laboratory Testing
Before any athlete touched our product, we conducted extensive lab testing. Adhesion strength tests, spring tension analysis, materials compatibility, biocompatibility screening. Every component was validated in controlled conditions.
Phase 2: Athlete Testing Pool
We recruited 50 competitive athletes across BJJ, MMA, and wrestling. Purple belts to world champions. They tested prototypes in training and competition for 6 months, providing detailed feedback on performance, comfort, and durability.
Phase 3: Performance Measurement
Using oxygen saturation monitors and standardized performance tests, we quantified the impact. The results exceeded our expectations: 31% average increase in oxygen intake, 18% improvement in endurance metrics, 23% reduction in recovery time.
Phase 4: Competition Validation
